How modeling transforms SE sustainably<\/strong> - The key message of my session was that modeling used to be a rather tactical matter that was used in specialist departments. But now we see the trend that modeling is becoming a strategic topic, i.e. gaining importance at business level. Effective use of strategic modeling is based on four principles, which are based on the concept of \"Predictive Product Development<\/a>\" are based on:<\/p>\n What do we really mean by MBSE? Is it standardized?<\/strong> - Piotr Malecki moderated this session, in which a common understanding of the term MBSE was created. In practice, there are still many different ideas about what it actually means. In particular, the focus was on terminology (is it really \"based\" and not \"driven\"?), languages (always SysML?) and procedures.<\/p>\n The group quickly came to a common understanding. In practice, however, it is extremely helpful to explicitly address the definition of MBSE and to make sure that only one definition is used in the context (project \/ company \/ etc.). All participants found this discussion extremely helpful in setting the tone for the rest of the day.<\/p>\n As always, the agenda was drawn up on site. Here is the result.
