MBSE Podcast with Tim Weilkiens and Christian Muggeo

MBSE Podcast

I am very pleased that there is now another offer on systems engineering in Germany: Tim Weilkiens and Christian Muggeo have created a new podcast. The first episode is actually just a 5-minute teaser. It really started on November 5, 2020 at 19:00, when episode 2 was streamed live on YouTube. After that, there will be new episodes every month or so.

Here are all the details in the words of Tim and Christian:

The MBSE Podcast - Trust us we are Systems Engineers!

The MBSE Podcast (Website) with the two heart and soul MBSE students Christian and Tim deals with topics around the subject of Model-Based Systems Engineering.

There are plenty of explanatory videos, books, articles etc. on MBSE. But the experiences and stories that you hear at conferences during breaks or at systems engineering get-togethers are particularly exciting and instructive.

Christian and Tim will certainly also explain things in the MBSE podcast, but will rather chat and invite exciting guest speakers to uncover the stories between the lines.

The MBSE podcast will initially start with German episodes. However, there will also be English episodes, as there are many exciting potential English-speaking guests on the topic of MBSE. Whether it will be a bilingual podcast or whether it will switch completely to English at some point is still open.

On Thursday, November 5 at 7 p.m. there will be a Live recording on YouTube of the next episode takes place:

In the following, Christian and Tim will shed light on the history of SysML. Tim, as a member from the very beginning, has a lot to say about this. But Christian has also been actively involved in the OMG and the development of SysML v2 for a few years.

The episode will provide answers as to why and how SysML was created. In addition, there were and are other OMG standards that were formed in parallel, which are now converging again in SysML v2.
