Goodies for Systems Engineers for the festive season

Now that Corona has ruined the whole year for us, I would like to wish all our readers a peaceful festive season and, of course, good health. The presents under the Christmas tree certainly can't make up for the ruined year, but they can at least cheer us up a little. And if the presents aren't enough, here's a collection of goodies that only real systems engineers can be happy about.
And don't forget: What will happen in systems engineering in 2021? It only takes ten seconds to give an answer - Join in now! >>
New edition of the Magic Grid Book of Knowledge
A few days ago, Dassault (formerly No Magic) a new version of the MagicGrid Book of Knowledge published. To get the e-book for free, simply contact Aurelijus Morkevicius request online.
The book is a practical guide to system modeling with Cameo Systems Modeler (formerly MagicDraw). I have often recommended the first edition of the book. Although it is tool-specific, the methodical content can be easily transferred.
Capella 5 released
If you don't have the Cameo Systems Modeler at hand, you can use the free (and open source) Capella use. Capella 5.0.0 was released just a few days ago (Release Notes). However, this is not a major innovation, despite the version jump. This is due to the fact that the team has adapted the versioning scheme.
Capella is closely linked to the ARCADIA method. On the Capella website there is good documentation, tutorials and other information to keep you busy throughout the Christmas season - at least for those who prefer this to the alternative...
SysML v2 Updates
If you're looking for even tougher reading, you can take a look at the SysML v2 specification over the holidays. Tim Weilkiens has published a nice overview on his blog. This is a good starting point for those who want to delve deeper into the subject.
In the article, Tim has also linked to the corresponding episode of the MBSE podcast. If you haven't listened to/watched the MBSE podcast yet, you can use the holidays to catch up. There are now four episodes. The podcast is run by Tim Weilkiens and Christian Muggeo.
