An agile Christmas miracle

It was December, peaceful and quiet,
Dr.-Ing., the mother, had the goal:
"This year is planned, no chaos in the room,
with a system as perfect as a dream!"
With Gantt charts and lists this long,
she started, the party was her plan.
"The children, the goose, the tree, the present,
I start with the problem before I steer!"
"First the requirements, ready for testing,
what everyone here needs is carefully collected.
Planned in the V-model, the tests already considered,
so that nothing collapses in the chaos."
Chaos is approaching
The father was skeptical, he spoke softly:
"Christmas is about the heart and the spirit!
Not of systems, diagrams and numbers,
That won't work, I can already guess."
Evening came, it was already dawning,
but suddenly there were no decorations on the tree.
The goose was burnt, the mulled wine too cold,
The children grumbled, now it had gone too far.
"Your plan was well thought out, but as rigid as a stone."
said the father, "the world is rarely so small.
Now let's pack it up, agile and skillful,
so that the feast can still make us happy today."
Agile festival
The mother smiled and understood immediately,
"An agile approach must now be on board.
Small steps, flexible thinking,
so it will be a celebration that brings joy!"
The children decorated, the man helped cook,
teamwork resulted in a sparkling glitz.
The goose was forgotten, pizza came in,
but the hearts glowed in the candlelight then.
At the end, the mother said: "That teaches me a lot,
It's not about the process, it's about the goal.
Agility and a bit of magic,
turn the party into a symphony!"
Even if generative AI has helped with writing, it is clear that a lot still needs to happen before we no longer need writers and poets! And AIs still can't count properly!
